Chris Malwadde, an independent consultant, has a wealth of experience as a seasoned Financial Inclusion Specialist, accumulating over twenty-five years of expertise across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Over the course of his career, he has been engaged in diverse projects supported by organizations such as the World Bank, European Investment Bank, USAID, and governmental initiatives all aimed at fortifying policies for inclusive financial systems. His proficiency spans from overseeing macro-level project execution to providing micro-level technical assistance to a variety of Financial Institutions, including MFIs, Banks, MDIs, and SACCOs. The technical assistance he offers encompasses governance and board matters, risk management, financial analysis, strategic planning, financial projections, and the development of client-centric products.

Equipped with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting, an MBA in Accounting and Finance, and certification as a Risk Management Expert from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Mr. Malwadde is dedicated to leveraging his knowledge to fortify financial institutions. Currently, he is actively enrolled in a six-month Sustainable Finance Course with the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, further augmenting his understanding of the pivotal role played by the financial system in transitioning towards a low-carbon and sustainable economy.
