Daniel Karibwije is an Export Trade Consultant with DK GREENTRADE Consult and a Certified Trade Advisor, International Trade Centre – ITC (Geneva, Switzerland). This involves developing business, promoting trade and export impact for good.  He has 17 years’ of expertise in export management, strategy, product development, sustainable trade, market intelligence, and competitiveness. Mr. Karibwije worked with Government for 10 years as Director, Trade Promotion and Public Relations at the Uganda Export Promotion Board (UEPB), a public trade support institution supervised by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives.

He was responsible for promoting and branding Uganda’s goods and service exports in regional and international markets. Mr. Karibwije was Chief Operations Officer for Uganda at Expo Milano 2015 (Italy), Deputy Commissioner General and Pavillion Director at Yeosu Expo 2012 (South Korea) and Coordinator, Shanghai Expo 2010 (China). He is the Projects Officer at Uganda Agency for Development (UGAD), founders of UGAFODE Microfinance Limited (MDI).

He holds a Masters in International Business degree from South East University, Nanjing, China. Mr. Karibwije started formal employment (2000) as a Credit Analyst at Allied Bank International (ABI) now Bank of Africa Uganda Ltd.

Mr. Karibwije represents UGAD (NGO) on the Board.
