A qualified accountant, certified director, and senior banker with Non-Executive Director and Chair of Audit experience acknowledged as an effective leader with strategic vision at the senior corporate level. Recognized for expertise in internal audit and over 15 years of experience working across commercial and microfinance banking, utility business, external auditing, risk and financial management, training, general business administration, and board governance. She is a trainer certified by the Institute of Internal Auditors-Florida, USA and a Graduate of Advanced Leadership from The Wharton School of Executive Education (USA), and Creative Metier (England). Ruth-Doreen has held different Non-Executive/Advisory roles in the private and public sectors, including Institute of Internal Auditors, Inc. Florida USA, Africa Federation of Institutes of Internal Auditors, National Agricultural Research Organization, Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Institute of Internal Auditors, Uganda, and Institute of Certified Public Accountants Uganda.
